This photography series explores the theme of missed connections and parallel lives. By capturing strangers who could have played important roles in my life under different circumstances, the series contemplates the role of chance and fate in shaping personal narratives. I am particularly drawn to photographing people who are my own age because I believe that growing up in the same era and area fosters a sense of shared experience and perspective. Each portrait captures a fleeting moment of connection that in another life might have developed into a lasting relationship.

You could have been my neighbour, my lover, my brother, my classmate, my friend.

You could have been my neighbour
