'On Her Way' is an ongoing body of work in which Rebecca's main focus is on the trail her mother followed 31 years ago. She made her way over water to Belgium, never to return home. Since then, Rebecca has made several trips over water to different places with her camera. The photos show a variety of objects and places she encounters that evoke a sense of melancholy and nostalgia in her. She explores what it means to be on the road, to go where the stream takes you, imagining that you will not return.
